Over the course
of my Masters research into leadership and management in education I have come across several areas of particular interest
to me. One such issue that has really intrigued me is that concerning the defining characteristics of successful senior leaders.
My proposed research project title is:
An Investigation into the Traits of Effective Senior Leaders in Large Organisations The aim of this project is to determine whether there are common characteristics among senior leaders
that can be seen as best practice. I intend through my research to ascertain, explore, evaluate, practice and, where possible,
improve the effectiveness of these characteristics in the work place.
